NY Red Bulls 3-2 Portland Timbers – Video highlights

Well that was dull, wasn’t it?

The Portland Timbers did well to shred both starting backs of the New York Red Bulls in the first 32 minutes of play, but a combination of a subbed-on Kenny Cooper and a bit of good fortune helped the hosts level the match before the halftime break. Goalkeeper Bill Gaudette then produced three of the best stops made by any New York ‘keeper during the 2012 Major League Soccer campaign, and the unlikely combo of Cooper to Solli to Pearce put New York ahead for good. I don’t know about any of you, but I’m absolutely exhausted following the 3-2 win.

Going to Kansas City, Kansas City here we come…
