Jason Iapicco (@DoctaStooge) is a fairly new fan of the Red Bulls. He fell in love with the team after attending a match on June 2nd, 2010. After sitting in the upper deck above the South Ward, and watching Juan Pablo Angel finesse a stoppage time winner against Houston, he was hooked. Unfortunately for him, the bug bit him just as he was being re-located to Maryland for work. You will see him at matches in Philadelphia and Washington D.C., as well as the occasional match at Red Bull Arena. The Red Bull Rant is Jason’s first foray into sports writing/podcasting of any kind.
Patrick MacDonald (@PMacD82) started following the Red Bulls in 2010 with the opening of Red Bull Arena. He later started writing about the team on NJ.com. Patrick also currently writes for Empire of Soccer’s US Soccer section.
Truman (@theTruman) is a 16 year Metrostar/Red Bull supporter. He is also a former star defender (for Thomas Conley Middle School), and star manager (for local rec team). Aside from the Red Bull Rant, he also is a blogger for NJ.com to boot!
Zac Wassink (@ZacWassink) is a soccer geek who loves RBNY, Spurs, Juve, Middlesbrough and PERTH GLORY. He also frequently writes about his favorite teams and also about other sports, and his thoughts and articles can be found via his Twitter and Facebook Fan pages. His favorite Red Bulls memory is seeing a bridge ablaze during a pre-match Red Bull Arena march. Wait, what?
Craig Taylor (@craigyt1987)
Pete Huryk (@PHuryk7) is a lifelong soccer player and fan. He started playing when Ricky Davis of the NY Cosmos attended a family block party and kicked the ball around with the kids. His teams are the Red Bulls (MLS), Peterborough United (FLC) and Valencia CF (SPD). As a player, coach and fan, he values smart play and hard work over flashy tricks and big reputations.
Cheryl Bertram (@CherylBertram13) recently fell in love with game of soccer while watching the 2010 Men’s World Cup. Soon after, the 2011 Women’s World Cup opened a whole new set of doors. She found an even greater passion for the women’s side of soccer and would spend most of 2012 traveling all over North America to experience Women’s National Team games in person. While currently a full-time student, you can find Cheryl attending both Sky Blue FC and USWNT games in the northeast.
Kevin Doten (@akapsychosis) has been following the Red Bulls since the run to MLS Cup in 2008. He also has a complete obession with Manchester United because they are the only sport team that wins anything with the others being the Jets, Mets, and Rangers. He’s about as unpolitically correct as possible for a gay sports fan, which seems to get him in trouble on twitter. If easily offended, he’s not the twitter account to follow.
